Indicator scope
Most indicators are national, not Seoul-specific. The site name reflects the cultural and economic gravity of Seoul, not a strict geographic filter. PM2.5 is Seoul-only; everything else is Korea-wide.
Update cadence
An automated job runs every 6 hours and pulls fresh data from official APIs. Each card shows its own cadence (daily / monthly / quarterly / annual) — that's how often the underlying number changes upstream, not how often we fetch it.
Source ladder
Indicators prefer official APIs over downloads and scrapes:
- auto — fetched live from an official API (KOSIS, BOK ECOS, AirKorea, Customs, FSC).
- manual — curated by hand from official reports; date shows when last verified.
- stale — auto data that's failing to refresh; last good value preserved.
- seed — placeholder until automation is wired up.

Korean public data (KOSIS, BOK, AirKorea, Korea Customs, FSC) is used under the Korea Open Government License (KOGL Type 1 · 출처표시). OECD and Henley figures are © their respective publishers.
